In collaboration with IHG Hotels & Resorts, we facilitated an immersive, hands-on workshop where ideas extended beyond conversation and were brought into material, process, and form. It became a space where thinking was transformed into doing, allowing concepts to be explored and tested not in abstraction, but through direct engagement with real materials.
Participants were encouraged to experience design from a more tactile and intuitive perspective, discovering how materials respond, how they can be intentionally shaped, how individual elements connect, and how meaning is formed through the act of assembly. Each stage of the process fostered curiosity, experimentation, and a heightened awareness of how design takes shape in the physical world.
Because in many instances, true understanding is not achieved through observation alone. It is not always found in seeing a finished outcome or in hearing explanations.
It is often most clearly revealed through making itself, when the hands become part of the process, and the idea gradually unfolds through direct creation.
Through this hands-on experience, each participant engaged closely with form, structure, and process, assembling the GEOM Watch piece by piece. It became a quiet yet meaningful moment where ideas moved beyond discussion, becoming something tangible, personal, and intentionally crafted.
